Housed in an upper level of a shopping mall in Kuala Lumpur’s bustling Cheras neighbourhood, INNSiDE by Meliá is the latest edition to hotelier Meliá’s growing collection, which also includes the soon-to-be-opened INNSiDE by Meliá Bangkok Sukhumvit.
Set to merge functionality and playfulness in the middle of cosy cocoon, the hotel offers two vibrant multifunctional areas, The Big Ideas Space and The Recording Studio with comfortable couches, spacious meeting table, walls bedeck with books and inspirational messages and arts, TVs and a multitude of cosy spaces to work or chat. Located on the same floor, there are also an alfresco palm tree-fringed infinity pool and a 24-hour gym featuring weights and state-of-the-art equipment on the opposite site. A 1st-floor all-day restaurant offers views of the city skyline while guests devour specialities such as Italian Lobster Aglio Olio and succulent lamb shanks, Smoked Salmon Benedict, Chicken Pesto and more.
The hotel modern and contemporary architecture features 238 rooms in total with six room categories that span from a spacious 22 square meter to 85 and 102 square meters. The largest room, Townhouse Xtra is a huge suite built with separate living/dining and sleeping areas, and a bathroom that has a freestanding deep soaking tub overlooking the city. Driven by Meliá’s sustainability effort, the hotel goes plastic free and is powered by solar-powered LED lighting.
